I absolutely love my dishwasher. I purchased mine two years ago and I just fell in love with it. It’s so helpful because I no longer need to do my most hated chore – washing the dishes by hand! And since I love my appliance so much I had to learn how to properly use it and take care of it so it lasts me a long time. If you don’t use your dishwasher properly then it most likely will break – and I don’t think anyone wants that!
So How To Properly Load Your Dishwasher?
My first tip is to always rinse dishes first. I know that you think your dishwasher will do all the dirty work, however, if the dishes you will put are extremely dirty then a quick rinse will help the appliance.
Place the glasses and cups on the top rack and all the plates and bowls on the bottom rack.
Have you ever had opened the door to realize half of the dishes are clean and the other half are still dirty? That’s why you should always make sure that the arms of the appliance aren’t blocked by a bowl or pan. That way the dishwasher will be able to spray and clean everything.
And Do Not Forget To Clean Your Dishwasher!
Yes, it’s an appliance that is designed to clean, however, this doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t take care of it. You still need to clean your dishwasher from time to time. In fact, this is the most important thing you need to do if you want your appliance to last you a long time without breaking.
Thankfully, cleaning it is super easy. All you need to do is fill a cup with vinegar, place it on the top rack then run a hot cycle. The vinegar will clean and disinfect! Do this once a month!
